Driftwood Table Lamp / Sconce - Dendronotus Frondosus
DESCRIPTION
Natural driftwood, sourced from the Western Cape coast. No two pieces are identical — the form is determined entirely by what the wood already is.
This piece works two ways. Wall-mounted, the branching arm extends outward and suspends a large globe bulb on a twisted macrame cord. Freestanding, it sits on its own base — soft-padded feet protect the surface beneath it. Both mountings are included. Both work without modification.
A single globe bulb hangs from the outermost branch point on a 4-metre macrame cord — enough reach to wall-mount high, trail across a surface, or pool softly at the base. Plug-in. No hardwiring required.
Supplied with a Genetic Lights macrame rope light — a warm-toned, large-globe filament fitting on a hand-twisted jute cord. The light is part of the piece, not an addition to it.
Made once. Not repeated.
